Agenda: 

• Review writings from Response One with an emphasis on the genre characteristics they identified.
• Reinforce the distinctions between categories of genre conventions (i.e., genre, subgenre) and their importance in particular contexts (i.e., essential, common, etc.)

Assignments:

• Read "Is Google Making Us Stupid?

• Read "Does Google Make Us Smarter?"

• Read "Causal Arguments" (WW 176-188) And  WW Chapter 2, pp 48-98.
